Well maintained golf club, very long fairway and some of it very narrow. Challenging green. An undulating golf course but fun to walk. So many power line adding to the uniqueness of the club. 3rd hole, 6th. I like the back nine, starting from 12th onward we’re beautiful.
It’s been 6 or 7 years since I previously played this course, but it’s definitely gone down hill since then. Greens were ok, the fairways were poor and the tees worse still. Hard to find a flat spot to hit off from.
A very challenging public access course at a reasonable price for guests. There are some interesting and long holes here that make course management particularly important. I can't help but think the bad reviews are from people who are a bit upset they didn't score well because they are used to easier courses! If you can't hit a draw on the 4th, the likelihood of you getting a par is very low and the 411m uphill 6th requires a big drive. The back to back par 5's that follow are a welcome relief!
After a very wet winter, I was surprised (September 2022) just how well the course has come back there fairways are running and the place is dry - worlds apart from than other courses I've played in recent weeks around the Yarra Valley.
Nice public course, with challenging long holes, interesting holes with power lines within the launch range, but great experience.
Fine course in excellent condition.
Friendly efficient staff in pro shop and clubhouse.
course is fairly challenging, would be 5 star except its very hard finding the next tee box after a hole. lack of signage is very apparent. i cant believe no one else has made mention of it.
I had the pleasure of having my son’s first birthday party at the function room here and it was such an amazing experience from the enquiringly and booking phase all the way through to the actual birthday. Tamara (event coordinator) was amazing going above and beyond to help ensure the day was a success. All my guests were impressed with the food and service from the wait staff. Highly recommended, will definitely consider hosting more events here in the future!
Course was in so-so condition for winter, sections of holes were very wet and the club house is old and is small.
Fairways are tree lined and tight, greens were soft but quick.
Overall place needs a bit of work but would still recommend for the weekday price.
It was good for the first time as We have been in Rowville since 1979 and hope to get the chance to play the course again lunch was great thanks to the chefs on the day I won c grade with 36 pts
Great local course, engaging and challenging hilly layout, although at the moment conditioning is a bit average. Wild rough, unmown fairways, lots of water. Hopefully will recover coming into summer
